Day 1 : Lake Mburo National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet your guide and begin your journey to Lake Mburo National Park(approx. 4-5 hours). As you enter the park, enjoy an optional guided game drive, where you may spot zebras, giraffes, elands, and even leopards. Arrive at your lodge in time to relax and take in the breathtaking savannah scenery. Overnight in Lake Mburo National Park.
Day 2 : Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Wake up early for an immersive walking safari in the heart of Lake Mburo National Park. Unlike traditional game drives, this experience lets you explore the African wilderness on foot, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide. The highlight of the morning is visiting a hyena den, where you may observe these elusive nocturnal predators up close.
Return to the lodge for lunch, then begin your scenic transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (approx. 5-6 hours). Enjoy the changing landscapes as you move from open savannahs to the dramatic volcanic highlands near the Virunga Mountains. Arrive in Mgahinga in the evening and settle into your lodge. Overnight in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Day 3 : Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Gahinga Lodge – Full Board
After an early breakfast, head to the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park headquarters for a briefing before setting off on a mountain gorilla trekking adventure. Accompanied by expert rangers, hike through the dense bamboo forests in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once found, spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat—an experience that will stay with you forever.
Return to the lodge for a well-earned rest and enjoy the serenity of the mountainous surroundings. Overnight in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Day 4 : Road Transfer to Entebbe – Departure
After breakfast, begin your scenic road transfer back to Entebbe International Airport (approx. 9-10 hours). Alternatively, a domestic flight from Kisoro to Entebbe can be arranged at an extra cost for a faster journey. Arrive in Entebbe in time for your international departure.
